ASHTON — The inaugural Miss Paw Print Pageant with 19 contestants was held Saturday at Hannan Jr./Sr. High School with seven young women crowned as winners.
Those seven winners and their respective titles include Shaeden Black, Miss Queen; Krystal-Lynn Starcher, Teen Queen; Khloie Billings, Jr. Miss Queen; Abigail Judy, Young Miss Queen; Emily Tackett, Little Miss Queen; Emmaleigh Wilson, Tiny Miss Queen; and Kylee Cottrill, Wee Miss Queen.
Black is the 16-year-old daughter of Joseph and Erica Black of Gallipolis Ferry. Starcher is the 15-year-old daughter of Greg and Shelly Starcher of Williamstown. Billings is the 12-year-old daughter of Josh Billings and Ruthie Fisher of Gallipolis Ferry. Judy is the nine-year-old daughter of Thomas and Bridget Judy of Fraziers Bottom.
Tackett is the seven-year-old daughter of Calvin and Kathy Tackett of Chesapeake, Ohio. Wilson is the four-year-old daughter of Scott and Danielle Wilson of Glenwood. Cottrill is the two-year-old daughter of Jeremy and Amber Cottrill of Ashton.
Other winners include Peytin Rossiter, who took home the award for Overall Best Wildcat Wear; and Kylee Cottrill also won the Overall Miss Photogenic Award.
The Miss Paw Print Pageant served as a fundraiser for the Hannan Jr. High Cheerleaders. Under the direction of Coach Delyssa Edmonds, the squad includes Co-Captain Leslie Meade, Co-Captain Natasha Plants, Kaylee Pearson, Bailey Harless, Emily Smith, Kassidee Bush, Naomi Hoffman and Lindsey Holley.
