Leon Elementary recently raised over $1,900 for the American Heart Association by participating in the annual Jump Rope For Heart event. Mrs. Farley’s second grade class raised the most money at $778 and the overall top donor was second grader Natalee Fields who raised $510. This is the second year in a row that Fields has raised the most money for the annual event. As part of her reward as the top fundraiser, Fields is pictured here with silly string, taking aim at Leon Principal Don Bower. Bower, who is also pictured beneath all that silly string, is shown here being a good sport.
