This weekend just under 300 people showed up at Hannan High School to support and pray for a 16-year old sophomore severely injured in a recent automobile accident. Paul Holley, a well known player on the Wildcats basketball team, was the focus of many “prayers for Paul,” during this candlelight vigil held in his honor on Saturday. In addition to his fellow Wildcats, students from throughout the county attended the event planned by Holley’s friends who are currently trying to raise funds for his medical expenses. This week, Holley, who is paralyzed from the chest down, is to be transported to Shriners Hospital for Children at the facility’s spinal cord rehabilitation center in Chicago, Ill.
