Glenna Mae Pearson, 67, of Gallipolis Ferry, passed away on March 19, 2013 at Pleasant Valley Hospital after a long illness.
Glenna was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many.
She was born September 22, 1945 in Huntington. She was the daughter of the late mother Inas (Short) Kincaid-Black, and stepfather, Nardia Black of Milton and late father, James Kincaid of Huntington.
Glenna was married to Roy Pearson on November 9, 1974 in Henderson. They had 38 years of a wonderful marriage together.
She is also preceded in death by her sons, Kendall Scott Davis, Vincent Lee Davis; and brother, Jerry Lee Kincaid.
Glenna leaves behind her loving husband, Roy Pearson of Gallipolis Ferry; daughters, Kelley (Jeff) Snider of Carroll, Ohio, Carrie (John) Wolfe of Pomeroy, Ohio, Brenda Davis of Bidwell, Ohio; and her special grandson, James (Heather) Potter II of Eunice, La., (whom she raised as her own son).
She enjoyed all of her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Brother-in-laws, Harold (Janie) Pearson and Roger (Carol) Pearson.
Glenna has left many wonderful memories for all that knew her and will be greatly missed by all of us.
Visitation for Glenna will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, at the Deal Funeral Home, with the funeral service at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 22, at the funeral home with Jamie Fortner officiating. Burial will follow at Wyoma Church in Gallipolis Ferry.
