Sheila Irene Schrock, 54, of Ashton, was called home by our Precious Lord at Holzer Hospital, on March 21, 2013, after a sudden Illness. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was born December 9, 1958, and was the daughter to the late Delbert and Opal Thacker Waugh of Ashton.

Sheila attended Hannan High School. She was a security guard for Security America at ICL IP America of Gallipolis Ferry, for 11 years, as well as a cashier at Trippett’s Dandi Mart of Glenwood for five years, where she made friends with everyone she met. Sheila was one of a kind. She could always bring smiles and laughter anywhere she went.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Julia Jean Waugh, and her daughter, Angela Dawn Waugh.

Sheila leaves behind her loving son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Tina Schrock of Ashton; two granddaughters she loved so dearly, Emily Thevenin and Jaelyn Schrock; her beloved fiancé, Bodie Stapleton of Ashton; sister, Connie (Roy) Chapman of Ashton; brothers, Delbert Jr (Kathy) Waugh of Ashton, Jim (Jeanie) Waugh of Henderson, Bob (Sadie) Waugh of Apple Grove, and John Waugh of Point Pleasant. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and several family members and friends that loved her dearly.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 25, 2013, at the Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Rev. Mark Mayes, and Rev. Bobby Ray officiating. Burial will follow in the Ball’s Chapel Church Cemetery in Ashton. Friends may visit the family from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday evening, March 24, 2013, at the funeral home.
