She was a nurse’s aide for Holzer Medical Center and Pleasant Valley Hospital and a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union in Point Pleasant.
She was born Aug. 17, 1915 in Southside, a daughter to the late Fountain and Laura Saxton Gillispie. She was raised by Mishiei Gillispie.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd R. Fisher; and one son, Charles O’Dell Fisher.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Norma Fisher of Point Pleasant; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 10 at Concord Cemetery in Henderson with Isaish Crump Jr. officiating. Burial will follow. There will be no public visitation.
