Hope Roush/photo - Despite thunderstorms Thursday morning, sunshine peaked through the clouds in the afternoon to allow several swimmers to enjoy a day at Harmon Park Pool in Point Pleasant. The pool officially opened for the season on Wednesday, and will be open noon-5 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and 1-5 p.m. Sunday. Pool parties also can be held 5-7 p.m., 6-8 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. For more information, call the Point Pleasant City Building at 304-675-2360.
