Phillip James Hall, 65, of Henderson died Wednesday, June 10, 2009, at his home.

He was born Dec. 5, 1943, in Chelyan a son to the late Ben and Louise Payne Hall. He was a labor for local area farmers.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Hall. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Otis Hively of Henderson; granddaughter, Maggie and Chris Snead of Henderson; son and daughter-in-law, James and Helen Hall of Mount Alto; brothers, Andy Stone of New Haven and Randy Stone of Point Pleasant; sister, Kay Stone of Pomeroy, Ohio; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held 6 p.m. at the House of Praise and Worship Church in King Town on Saturday, June 13, 2009, with the Rev. Marshall Bonecutter officiating. There will be no visitation and the burial will be at the convience of the family. Deal Funeral home is serving the family.
