He was born April 26, 1963, in Point Pleasant, son of the late Frank E. and Evelyn Virginia Burnette Woodall.
Mark attended Hannan Trace High School and was a backhoe operator for C.J. Hughes Construction of Huntington, W.Va. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and painting wildlife scenes.
Surviving are a stepson, Christopher Todd Woodall of Gallipolis; five brothers, Howard Stephen (Sally) Woodall of Point Pleasant, Charles Joseph (Louise) Woodall, John Paul Woodall and James Aaron Woodall, all of Gallipolis, and Jerrod Matthew (Aimee) Woodall of Patriot, Ohio; three sisters, Crystal Ann Clary of Gallipolis, Tamara Darlene (Terry) Groves of Vinton, Ohio, and Joyce Marie (Mark) Banks of Point Pleasant; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, David L. Woodall and Frankie Woodall.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 4, 2009, at the Willis Funeral Home in Gallipolis, with the Rev. Joseph Woodall Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, July 3, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Nibert, Jason Groves, Matt King, Adam Woodall, Nathan Woodall and Mike Preston.
Honorary pallbearers are Chuck Woodall and Marvin Baird.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mark A. Woodall Memorial Fund, in care of Peoples Bank.
