Hilda M. Bradshaw, 98, of Lancaster, Ohio, died Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at Pickering House, in Lancaster.

Hilda moved to Lancaster in 1991 from Point Pleasant where she had retired from the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Lancaster, the Telephone Pioneers Association and was a former member of Heights United Methodist Church in Point Pleasant.

She was born January 19, 1911 in Point Pleasant, a daughter of the late Park Hanlon Bradshaw and Louise Marcella (Korn) Bradshaw.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Dana, Adolph, Herman and Victor Bradshaw; and two sisters, Leona (Virgil) Love and Clara (Thornton) Burgess.

Surviving are several nieces, a nephew and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, July 18 at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Rev. Nancy Hamm officiating. Burial will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery in Point Pleasant. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home Saturday.
