He was born Sept. 4, 1951 in Mason County a son to the late Clyde and Earlie Stewart Russell. He was a registered nurse for many area hospitals and a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Eden Elijah Estep, and brothers, Leroy and Jim Russell.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Hudson Russell; sons, D.J. and Jessica Russell of Pomeroy, Ohio and Bryant Russell of Pomeroy, Ohio; daughters, Martha and Jeff Watts of Wayne, Elizabeth and Jeremy Estep of Norfolk, Va., and Kaitlin Russel of Pomeroy, Ohio; grandchildren, Christopher, Korey and Jordan Watts and Vanessa and Qutinon Estep; brothers and sisters, Evelyn and (Paul) Runeion of Point Pleasant, Jean Webb of Point Pleasant, Betty and (Mike) Sellards of Huntington, John Russell of Chester, Ohio, Terry Black of Richmond, Va., Oma Craig of Ohio, Bob Russell of Point Pleasant, Elvis Russell of Point Pleasant, Eadker Russell of Point Pleasant and Sharon Stout of Gallipolis, Ohio.
