GALLIPOLIS FERRY — The Tolliver Family will be having a dinner on Sunday, Aug. 16 at Supresta Clubhouse in Gallipolis Ferry. All family and friends are welcome. It is asked that a covered dish be brought. Dinner will be served at 1 p.m.
Food pantry to give commodities
HARTFORD — On Tuesday, Aug. 18, the Bend Area Food Pantry will be giving out government commodities to those families who qualify.
It will take place at The Hartford United Methodist Church on 31 Front Street in Hartford from 9 a.m. to noon. Please bring proof of income and proof of residency in Mason County. Also bring boxes to receive food.
Due to the limited parking space, it is asked that families whose last names being with the letters A to L, to come at 9 a.m. and those with the letters M to Z, come at 10:30 a.m.
