He was born November 9, 1928 in Mason County to the late Charles William Schultze & Adia Mae (McDermitt) Schultze.
He was a Korean Veteran, serving as a Aircraft Mechanic in the Air Force, and a retired welder. He also a member of the American Legion Post #23 and Moose Lodge #731.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Peter Elson Schultze, William Otis Schutlze of Mason County, and George Marvin Schultze of Wapakoneta, Ohio.
All survivors are, one nephew, George W. Schutlze of Ada, Ohio; two nieces, Amy Marie Schultze Miller of Wapakoneta, Ohio and Violet Schultze Thomas of Point Pleasant; several great nieces and nephews; one sister, Irene Schultze Mooney of Glen Burnie, Md.; his wife, Wilda Casey Schultze; two step-sons, Hollie (Pearl) Cole and Rick (Kay) Cole; and several step grandchildren, step great grandchildren and a special great grandson, Guy Cole Jr.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Friday, September 18, 2009 at Deal Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Swisher officiating. American Legion Post #23 will conduct full military rites at Suncrest Cemetery. Friends, please e-mail condolences to dealfuneral@suddenlinkmail.com.
