Born November 4, 1947, she was the daughter of Anna Mae and Vernon “Dizzy” Lee of Henderson, and was formerly employed with Harris’ Steakhouse of Point Pleasant and Hudson Law Offices of Myrtle Beach S.C.
She is preceded in death by two sons, Michael Paul McCoy (Infant) and J.L. McCoy of Henderson; one granddaughter, Andrya Jordan; and three brothers, Robert Lee (Infant), William Wesley Lee and Randall “Butch” Bright. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children and spouses, Jackie [McCoy] (Scott) Sinnet, (April) widow of J.L. McCoy, Artie (Lori) McCoy, Jimmy (Trinity) McCoy and David (Staci) McCoy; and her grandchildren, Cassie, Sid, Cameron, James “Jr,” Carrington, Triston, Libby, Shayla, Breanna, Tiara, Lindy and Destane. She is further survived by her brothers and spouses, Danny and Phyllis Bright, Jackie and Tammy Bright, Dean and Tina Lee, Scotty and Debbie Lee, Ricky and Rachel Lee; sisters, Lisa Brewer, Sandra McCarty, with whom she resided at the time of her death; sisters and spouses, Reba and Richard Hansen, Penny and Rick Likens; and many nieces and nephews.
The Family wishes to invite visitors from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25 to the Henderson Community Building to honor and celebrate her life. A graveside memorial will be held at the Concord Cemetery on U.S. Rt. 35 in Henderson at the convenience of the family, where her remains will be placed to rest near her beloved departed son J.L. McCoy, nestled among numerous other family members by whom she was well loved and respected. Pastor Marshall Bonecutter will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Marine Corps National Toys for Tots Program at www.toysfortots.org.
