She was born March 14, 1936 in Mason County, a daughter to the late George Siders and Marie Jeffers Wears. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of the Addison Freewill Baptist Church in Addison, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, Deloris was preceded in death by her step-father, Russell Wears; sister, Junie Bush; and brother-in-law, Lincoln Bush.
She is survived by her children, Robert Siders of Huntington, Shirley and (Ron) Bowens of Point Pleasant, Deloris and (O’Dell) Tucker of Leon, Timmy and (Melba) Leport of Point Pleasant; grandchildren, Isaac and Joshua Leport, and Elizabeth Stewart; brother, Floyd and (Bonnie) Siders of Point Pleasant, several nieces and nephews; and one very dear friend and caretaker, Sharon Williamson. She also is survived by the children she cared for, Stephen and Dylan Pearson, Randy Williamson, and Nathan and Victoria Tucker.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, June 18, at the Deal Funeral Home of Point Pleasant with Rev. Rick Barcus, Jamie Fortner, and Matt Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Concord Cemetery in Henderson. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.
