She was born on December 27, 1933, in Kasong City, North Korea, a daughter of the late Su Man Kang and Mun Cha Yi.
Peggy is survived by her husband of 47 years, Ray Ratcliffe, Jr.; daughter, Cassandra Batson of New Haven; brothers-in-law, John Ratcliffe of Texas and Michael Ratcliffe of Virginia; and aunt, Betty Spencer of Gallipolis.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, July 9, at the Anderson Funeral Home in New Haven.
