Elizabeth (Libby) Ann Armantrout Pack, 56, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 17, 2012. She passed in her home surrounded by her loving family. Libby was born on February 24, 1956, in Mullens, the daughter of the late Emma Armantrout of Phoenix, Ariz., and Raymond and Eva Armantrout of Point Pleasant.

Libby’s battle was against ovarian cancer, but her victory was in the Lord. She used her story as a testimony and her struggle as way to spread the Word. Doctors and nurses, hospitals and clinics, friends, family, and fellow patients… they were all her mission field. She saw each obstacle as an opportunity—a chance to share her faith, a moment to witness and show love toward another, or a time to give thanks to the One who blessed her last 56 years. Those who knew Libby will remember the strength of her faith and the power of her hugs. They will remember the love she had for her husband and the dedication she had to her family. She will be remembered for having a fun-loving spirit, a servant’s heart, and a passion for life that could only come from following Christ.

Libby was a member of The East Richland Evangelical Friends Church for 42 years. She served as ERC church administrator and secretary, ERC school board member, NCA physical education teacher, pioneer clubs leader, and bible school teacher. She was the devoted wife of Gerald (Jerry) F. Pack Jr., for 37 years, the loving mother of four children, and the proud MawMaw to seven grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughter, Jessica A. Gordon (Mark) of Pickerington, Ohio; and sons, Gerald (JP) A. Pack (Pam), Jason E. Pack, and Justin W. Pack (Jessica), all of St. Clairsville, Ohio; grandchildren, Ethan Salman, Faith Perry-Gordon, and Elijah Gordon of Pickerington, Ohio, Rylee and Reid Pack, and Jaydon and Jaxson Pack, all of St. Clairsville, Ohio; siblings, Raymond E. Armantrout, Karen Filburn (Bart), both of St. Claisville, Ohio., Brian Billings (Shirley), Brent Billings (Lori), Jean Ann Jefferies (Avory), and Duke Armantrout, all of Point Pleasant.

Friends and family will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, May 20, at East Richland Evangelical Friends Church, 67885 Friends Church Road, St. Clairsville, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May, 21 at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to East Richland Christian Schools.

Arrangements by Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio.
