Detner Roush, Jr., 82, New Haven, passed away on December 10, 2012.

He was born on February 6, 1930, in Middleport, Ohio, son of the late Detner Roush, Sr. and Gladys Marie McDaniel Roush. He was formerly employed at the Vanadium steel plant. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marines and served during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion Post 140 and VFW Post 9926. He attended the Clifton Tabernacle Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.

He is survived by his wife, Hilda Roush; children, Pete Detner Roush, Thomas (Martha) Roush, Beverly Greenlee, Donald (Janice) Roush; 12 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sister, Helen Johnson of Mason.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please donate a meal or an hour of your time to someone in need in the name of Jesus Christ to show God’s overwhelming love.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Anderson Funeral Home in New Haven.
